About Cass
Born in Islington North London, Cass spent 29 years at Camera Press Ltd, a major press agency in the heart of London's West End. As Darkroom Manager he printed for some of the world's most famous photographers, including Karsh, Lord Snowdon, Lord Lichfield, Parkinson, Rankin, Terry O'Neill, Terence Donovan and David Bailey to name but a few. Cass has over 2,000 images on the agency web site and many have been published in books, magazines and newspapers around the world.
Now living in Marske-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire, Cass's landscape images have been exhibited at venues that include The Central Library Hartlepool, Kirkleatham Hall Museum, The Danby Moors Centre, Middlesbrough's TS1 Gallery, The Gallery Guisborough and Gibside National Trust Centre. Cass's images have a unique and dramatic style that captures the imagination of the viewer and the mood of the moment.
Cass also has a book out entitled " A Cockney Goes North " that includes over 100 of Cass's Iconic images, the book can be viewed and ordered via the Link page.
